My CelebBoutique Prize!

Anyway much to my surprise, being Friday the 13th & all that, I was checking my emails....what's this I see an email from the lovely Kim at CB, I open it...It only stated that I had won!

Not believing my luck I shrieked in excitement, it went on to state that I could pick ANY dress I like as my prize, I mean wow!!

In such a happy mood I then dedicated my entire Friday evening to the most important decision I'd made in a long time....which dress do I choose?!

As you'll see in my original blog post I had my eye on this Lucy Dress from the day I knew who CelebBoutique were!

Well I can honestly say from the moment I opened my package I was so impressed with my CB prize.

Opening the lid to my little black box, I could hardly contain my excitement, but I manged to just while I captured a quick snap....

The luxurious feel opening my dress was amazing, I can honestly say I have never been so impressed with an item of clothing.

And here it is...my Lucy Dress! 

 

 These bandage dresses are like instant lipo, I'm a regular sized girl and I was worried that I couldn't wear anything from CB, but I couldn't be more wrong.

Seriously these dresses make you feel like a million dollars!

The Lucy Dress retails at just £119 and it's worth every penny!

You only need the tiniest amount of these products to achieve results, as someone who used to use the bare minerals make up, this compares really well, and it's so reasonably priced.

 I used the products to create this look, it looks really natural and did take a bit of getting used to, 

Everyday Minerals do not clog your pores & they work with your skin to create a gorgeous effect whilst still looking natural. 

I swept the shadows across my lids and although its really hard to capture the shimmering tones on a still I promise you these cosmetics are gorgeous! 

I used the swirl, tap & buff technique to apply the minerals.

Next on my list to try is the Everyday Minerals Foundation, how lovely the other products in the range that I've tried make me want to use some more, I love wearing less make up at this time of the year so it would be perfect to test when we should be revealing our natural beauty, whilst still hiding the flaws of course ;)

Ardell Double Up Lashes

 

A few weeks ago you may remember my post featuring Ardell Lashes

Well the amazing lash experts at Ardell have just brought out these babies....Double Up Lashes. 

Twice the thickness, extra dramatic & full yet still light and comfortable to wear.

Fusing 2 pairs of lashes together to create an amazing look, I LOVE these lashes so much. 

I was kindly sent 2 pairs to review* and both give the most eye popping look.

The first pair are these 205 style lashes...

 

 

I think you'll agree these really make your eyes 'pop' yet they still look so natural. 

My top tip for false lashes is to always apply a line of black eyeliner along your lash line, it really breaks up the band of the false lashes and makes them blend in really well.

 The 2nd pair I tested are the 204 style lashes...

 

So pretty, girly and fluttery, these are the cutest lashes for a summer party, BBQ or just to add a little bit of volume to your eyes without looking too made up.
 As with all the Ardell Lashes these are such good quality, and will last ages!

I was kindly sent this Micro Pedi from Emjoi to review, and as summer is (hopefully) approaching there is no better time to get your feet glam and gorgeous! 

The Micro Pedi allows you to get salon results at home, in just minutes, removing the roughest skin in just seconds anyone can use the Micro Pedi with ease. 

This kit consists of the Micro Pedi roller, 2 roller heads coarse & extra coarse and a cleaning brush...

 The Micro Pedi fits neatly in your hand making it easy to use, and hold, and it's not heavy at all. 

I couldn't wait to test this out, and see if it really lived up to its promises,

 I couldnt quite believe my eyes to see how much skin this actually removed, it gently buffs the dead skin off in just seconds...

Emjoi recommend using the Micro Pedi for 2 weeks to get ultimate results but I can honestly say after just one use the improvement is amazing, pop on your fave foor cream after use and your feet feel brand new. 

The Emjoi Micro Pedi is avaliable from Boots.com priced at just £39.99, and believe me it's worth every penny! You would pay this for just one treatment in a salon, so I cannot rate this little gem highly enough. 

I LOVE this! There really is no excuse to have rough or dry feet ever again.

You may remember my previous Microderm experience, (if not you can read it by clicking here) didn't exactly blow me away and at £65 a go I thought it was a total waste of money.

The lovely Sarah started my treatment by going over my skin worries, I explained to her that my biggest bug bear were my visable pores, she recommended me a course of just 3 treatments to get results.

Following my consultation Sarah began cleansing my skin ready for the microdermwand to work it's magic...
This stage of the treatment is so relaxing and gives the SkinBase facial a real luxury feel.

And then the microderm wand worked it's magic on my face. I can only describe the sensation as a riubber being dragged across your face, totally painfree and very theraputic.

Sarah worked over my problem areas and my skin felt like it was having such a deep clean, it felt
really nice!

A fine jet of abrasive crystals gently removes dead skin cells layer by layer and a vacuum action lifts away the debris, stimulating the blood flow and encouraging collagen and elastin formation that results in firmer, revitalised and youthful looking skin.

Wrinkles disappear, acne scarring is reduced and dull and tired skin is completely banished - sometimes after just one treatment.

And in my case I had a definite improvement on my pores and skin tone...

After my 2nd & 3rd sessions I can see a total change in my skin, its brighter, clearer and looks nice and dewy. I also find that my skincare products melt into my skin so much better & my make up looks flawless.

I have even left the house with NO foundation on, and for me that is a miracle!
