Jo Malone/Candles & Cologne!

As I was lucky enough to get all these goodies for my 30th Birthday I thought they warranted a post of their very own.

If you've never experience a Jo Malone product, your missing out. The candles are sheer luxury and fill your home with the most beautiful fragrances. Floral, fresh or fruity there's something for everyone.

The Peony & Blush Suede Cologne is beautiful, a powdery floral with top notes of red apple really compliment the floral peony tones and the suede. I've had so many people ask me what this is when I'm wearing it and the staying power is pretty impressive to, I'd say 4-6 hours.

The Velvet Rose & Oud Candle is part of the intense fragrance collection from JM, they are more expensive than the standard home candles and they come in black glass rather than clear, the Velvet Rose & Oud is a really nice scent for autumn as it's really warming, the rose being the predominant smell there's also undertones of clove, praline and Oud wood. If you tend to go towards musky scents this will be one for you.

The Pomegranate Noir candle was a really touching gift to receive as not only is it one of my all time fave smells, but it was engraved, I don't actually think I'll ever be able to burn it! If you like fruity scents then this will be one for you to try out, pomegranate, raspberry and plum make up this beautiful scent, also hints of lily keep it nice and fresh.
I would love to treat myself  (the house) to a deluxe candle, although if my other half reads this he may just stop me from going in there when we hit London in December....

Shop the fragrance in 30ml & 100ml sizes here & all the candles can be found here

Jo Malone/Lace Bottle Collection

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Jo Malone, and as a newly engaged lady these do excite me, what a lovely idea for a wedding gift or for the upcoming summer weddings.

I will be wearing Jo Malone on my wedding day that's for sure, timeless and elegant and of course quintessentially British.
These beautiful lace design bottles launch in May this year and there are three different lace designs to choose from and the workmanship that goes in to them makes them a real piece of art, as all the detail is hand etched into the glass.

This collection will offer 10 of the brands best selling fragrances:

English Pear & Freesia, Lime Basil & Mandarin, Nectarine Blossom & Honey, Wild Bluebell, Pomegranate Noir, Velvet Rose & Oud and Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, Peony & Suede Blush, Orange Blossom, Red Roses.

At £86/100ml It's quite a splurge but if it's a gift or for your big day then it's something you could keep forever even when the perfume has gone, and how nice would the Wild Bluebell be for a bride's something blue?

Jo Malone/Sweet Almond & Macroon Candle

My Instagram followers will have seen snippets of my new house, and for those of you who don't already know I am now a home owner, and what better reason to buy Jo Malone home fragrance?!

I headed to Brighton for the weekend and the Jo Malone Boutique in Dukes lane is divine, if you've never been into a Jo Malone store, do it,  pure fragrance in the finest forms, body lotion, perfume, candles, diffusers, it's a scent overload. You'll be hard pushed to decide on your scent of choice.

Jo Malone is a British company and they create fragrances for her, for him and for your home, I LOVE nice packaging and they get this so right, each item is wrapped in tissue paper, each sheet sprayed with one of their signature fragrances before being tied up into a pretty gift box and then a bag, anything from Jo Malone is a gorgeous gift and would be greatly received by anyone I'm sure!

I went for the Sweet Almond & Macroon candle which retails at £39, with a burn time of 145 hours that's value for money.
A comforting confection of sweet macaroon and almond, rich with cherries, softened by vanilla, and a touch of coconut, it smells so good.

Next on my list is the English Pear and Freesia, its delicious!
