Eye Of Horus Mascara

Eye Of Horus has just landed in the UK, an Australian make up brand that's set to rival some of our premium beauty brands.

I really like what this brand are about, they never test on animals, or use any animal hair in their brushes, all the products are paraben free, and contain as many natural ingredients that they can pack in.

The range of products are all made based on an ancient Egyptian formula, and ingredients , including the ever popular moringa oil, claimed by the gods for its natural beneficial beautifying properties.

I've been reviewing the Eye Of Horus Mascara this week* and I have to say I really like it, I am always wary of straying away from my trusted brands.

I will let you judge the results for yourself.....

Top picture shows my lashes natural, and lower picture shows them with 2 coats of EOH Mascara applied.
Side view, really nice lifting effect to my very straight lashes!
The mascara is safe for use on even the most sensitive eyes and is rich in natural oils and waxes, it wont sting, clump, or run. The brush is like a little lash comb and is really easy and nice to hold while applying the product.
It comes beautifully packaged in a gift nag, complete with gold wrapping paper inside, the gold logo and ribbon give it a really luxurious feel, great for a gift too.

The only niggle is that for me it's just not quite volumising enough, but I will be using this for my every day mascara its really nice and long lasting, as well as being clump free.

You can get your very own mascara right here at the Eye Of Horus Cosmetics online shop, for just £17.99, check out the other products they have too, some fab bits.

Maybelline Volum Express the Mega Plush Mascara

The latest release mascara from Maybelline, their first gel mousse mascara, it's packaging is my fave colour!

As for mega plush lashes...I am not convinced on that one, it really doesn't flake and doesn't leave lashes brittle after application but I didn't feel it gave my lashes much volume.

It is good at leaving lashes clump free and does hold up against panda eyes, but for me it just doesn't make my lashes very full.

It's a good everyday mascara but got a night out I'd go for something a bit more false lashy!

Currently on offer in Boots for just £5.99 it's def worth a try.

Magnetic Lash Mascara & *Giveaway*

 http://www.samsbeautyblog.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/121-Magnetic-Lashes.jpg

Magnetic Lash is a newly launched 1-2-1 Lash Extension System by London based company Santhilea, this is what they have to say in their own words on this fab mascara.....

"We commit to using honest marketing because we understand that modern women are ready for a change and don't need any more clutter in their makeup kits. Our photography does not use false lash enhancement or digital alteration. Our fabulous products do what they say on the lovely tin"

Us women are always on the hunt for that perfect mascara that actually delivers results, this stuff has been heavily featured in the press & by celebs so it is always exciting to be offered the chance to review an exciting product, especially if it works.

I would not like to spend the £24.99 RRP on this stuff if it didn't actually work, so here are my thoughts....

One big selling point for me is the fact that the lashes in the advert for Magnetic Lash are not enhanced, as you have probably noticed in every mascara advert there will somewhere be a statement in tiny print saying that the lashes are enhanced or shot with lash inserts for an even lash line.

Here is Magnetic Lash Mascara's Advert...

Magnetic lash - extension mascara

This instantly excited me & I couldn't wait to test the product.
I am a die hard fan of falsies and wear them on every night out, without fail. I would love to fond a mascara that deliveries similar results but on my own natural lashes.

I have reviewed several of these extension system mascaras before, but there is one difference with this one, the fibres in the extension tube... they are made of velvet fibres, so they are super soft and they are BLACK! No more trying to hide those pesky white fibres under your mascara.
Magnetic Lash also contains 'blue and violet pigment to give your lashes a gorgeous 'Black Velvet' sheen.

Magnetic Lash contains lash growth goodness Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E to nourish and condition. Magnetic Lash is not oil based, so doesn’t come off on oily skin. This means it lasts longer and is suitable for even the most active women. It doesn’t stain glasses or skin, until you are ready to remove it at the end of the day.
I have so many compliments when wearing this mascara, even my other half's mum
(who is the glammest over 60 year old I have ever known by the way) said.....
'Oh Emma what have you put on your eyelashes to get them so long and thick'

This really does give a false lash look and not a falsie in sight when wearing it!

I have now ditched the false lashes for good, although I wouldn't use my Magnetic Lash day to day, as it's far to glam for work, it's perfect for special occasions and nights out.

It has been heavily featured in the glossies & is loved by celebs already, this mascara really does do it for me!

Maybelline The Rocket Volum' Express Masacara

You'll have no doubt seen the adverts on TV for this mascara, and as a girl on a mission for long lashes I had to try this stuff.

Love the packaging on these Maybelline Mascara's always bright and funky.

The huge brush scared me a little when I got it out the packet, but I am sure you'll agree when its on the lashes its clump free and looks good, I am really pleased with how it enhances the lashes, and this is just one coat, so you girlies who like lashings of mascara on your lashes will get amaze results from a few coats.

I have been testing mine out on a typical work day and I must say it holds up pretty well, no smudging or flaking, so it really is worth investing if you need a new mascara.

It promises to deliver up to 8x more volume, and personally I dont go much on the volume factor of this mascara but it does give a really nice effect, and I would say its a perfect day time mascara.

Currently on offer in Superdrug, buy one get the 2nd half price.

Have you tried this new mascara? If so what do you think?
