I'm really enjoying NYX cosmetics at the moment, the second product I've been reviewing is this lipstick in the shade 'Summer Love'
Its gorgeous!
A beige, mauve under toned Nude, its quite similar to MAC's Hue but less pinky, and a third of the price which is always good.
I do find you need to have super smooth lips to wear this if you have drier patches, exfoliate first, however the wear time of around three hours is very impressive for a £4 lippie.
It's a nice neutral shade and it has a hint of sparkle in the bullet although this doesn't appear obvious on the lips. It doesn't really have a smell to it and glides on really nicely. It holds up against eating and drinking really well and I'd definitely look to invest in more shades for my collection.

Rihanna has launched MAC's latest Viva Glam collection, previous launches have seen many well known celebs promoting them but the MAC & Riri partnership seems one that has latest really well, endorsing these products makes it her 4th range of products for MAC, with a spring summer collection ready to launch soon.
The Viva Glam range features Ri's blue-red frosted hues in a limited edition lipstick in lustre finish £15.00 and lipglass £14.00, both wrapped in red so soft packaging and both feature Ri's signature.
Wear time on the lip glass is under an hour so it doesn't have much staying power at all, the lipstick is just a beautiful rich and creamy red in MAC's signature lustre finish.

I like these products but they're not something I'd say you must rush out and buy, I'd consider saving your pennies for the S/S collection featuring a certain Osbourne Duo, you might just want to buy it all.....

MAC's latest launch is one I've been waiting on for a while. 12 shades of lips hugging gorgeousness this one wont disappoint if you love your MAC lippies but you want something a little softer on the lips for the upcoming spring/summer then you should definitely try one out.
The Huggable Lipcolour's are designed to give the look of a gloss but the application and wear of a lipstick, I was excited at MAC's claim of 6 hour wear on these, although I have to say in the shade I've been wearing (Touché*) that's not quite the case, although I hope the brighter shades may hold up a little longer.
I actually quote like the packaging on these, a smooth gunmetal casing give it a really modern and clean look, quite a nice touch considering it's the first product launch of the year.
Touché is probably the most natural shade in the collection, a lovely nude with a slight shimmering undertone throughout, this will be gorgeous in the summer with a natural tan.
The lip colours glide on the lips they feel stiff when you first apply but they literally melt to a glossy ;like texture upon application, no dragging or pulling on the delicate lip area.
Priced at £17.50 they are a bit pricey for a glorified lip gloss, but they know us MAC gals will pay for it!

MAC Ruby Woo is a VERY retro matte shade of Red gorgeousness.
It's got a really blue undertone to it which looks great on most skin tones and really makes the colour 'pop' personally I'd recommend applying the Ruby Woo over a clear but not too greasy lip balm to help the colour spread evenly, and to prevent dragging on the lips, a good lip brush also helps application.
It's a good dupe of the RiRi Woo that launched for her fall collection, you know the one that sold out in minutes.
Pair it with Cherry lip liner from MAC they are a perfect match.

When MAC released their Cremesheen + Pearl range, I made a wish list as you do.
I've been scouting the MAC counters near me to no avail, I managed to find this beautiful lipstick (it's one of the 2 I'm after) in Selfridges on Oxford Street.
The MAC site weirdly describes this shade as a 'frosty coral' totally misleading if you ask me as it's not at all frosty or shimmery. Just a pure and gorgeous creamy coral, which you can wear with anything! It's now my fave go to colour if I'm not sure what to wear on my lips. You can of course make it shimmery if you want by adding a hint of glittery lip gloss over the top. As with my other Cremesheen shades from MAC for me these shades never have enough staying power on the lips, you'll need to take it in your clutch bag if your wearing this on a night out.
Coral Bliss is on the
MAC website, or keep your eyes peeled for it at your local MAC counter, I do think £15 for a lippie is a lot of money, especially at the rate I apply it, but I just cant resist a MAC they really are fab shades.

Collection Privee is a collection of 6 different 'nude's' suitable for every hair color and skin tone.
The Campaign is headed by Julianne Moore and a few other names you'll know.
L'Oreal's latest lippie launch is gorgeous. And to be honest I long for every shade.
Here are the shades:
I have brunette hair and a warm complexion so I went for the 'Cheryl' shade, I love it.
Will you be trying any of these nude shades?

Ok I confess, I've been at the MAC again, the discount MAC outlet shop, so that kind of makes it ok, doesn't it?!
This trip I picked up 2 glosses and one lippy, here are the swatches.....
Altered Beige was launched earlier this year as part of MAC's Limited Edition 'Temperature Rising' Collection, so I was a tad excited to see this in the outlet shop! It's a gorgeous muted bronzed nude hue, and it is one of the MAC lustre lipsticks (semi sheer with a wet look) I love the matte finish packaging too!
It's much more wearable than Creme De Nude, which can leave lots of people washed out, this on the other hand will suit pretty much everyone's skin tone! The only down side is you may have to shop around a little to get your hands on it, so wearable, and will be a holiday fave of mine.
I love MAC lipgloss and the 'Plush Glass' give a sheer hint of colour and a pearlised, high shine gloss finish. This stuff gives a little tingle on application & smells like yummy vanilla. I love mine in the girly shade 'Fashion Fanatic' but there are so many to choose from I want them all! These retail at around £17.
The Pro Longwear Lipglasses are designed to last, these do hold for a long time, and these are the glosses your boyfriend will hate! Super sticky, but that's what give them real staying power. MAC say they'll last 6 hours, I'd say an hour or two max. This one is still on sale at MAC counters and they retail at £17.50.
Which MAC products cant you live without?

| Retrofuturist A gorgeous berry red shade, as good as it looks alone you could layer on some lipgloss to add a hint of shimmer and shine to give it more depth. I think this will be a really nice winter colour, especially against pale skin and neutral eye make up. £11.50 direct from Cocktail Cosmetics. |

Glamour 101 A very bold & sexy red hue. This one looks so bright and out there but actually on the lips it's stunning.
I wouldn't layer any lipgloss over this one personally as I love the deep letterbox red.
It's a known fact that red lippie will make your teeth look whiter too, bonus!

Of the 2 shades I love the Glamour 101 and as I am trying to be a lot braver with colour this year I will be wearing this one a lot, next on my list is the beautiful Geradium shade, a barbie esque pink (definitely a Miss Minaj)
