Basic In Brentwood/What I Wore

Huge thank you to all of you for your likes, comments and questions on my snapchat, insta, and facebook over the weekend, my trip to Brentwood was incredible!

So many of you have asked me for outfit details.so I've popped a couple of posts together for you.

Thursday night we headed into the town for dinner and drinks, we had a nosey round all of the TOWIE haunts and decided to pop into the Dairyman for dinner and a drink. As I'd never been to Essex before I wasn't sure on what to wear so I  played it a little safe on the first night.

These jeans always get so many compliments and they are honestly the comfiest jeans I've ever owned, no sagging or baginess and they wash so well, they can be dressed up or down, and once you try them you'll need them in every colour available. They are a little stretchy and the torn detail really give them an edgy look, they are fab tucked into long boots or as I've worn them here with some strappy heels.

These are the extra short length leg (28 inches to be precise, i definitely wasn't blessed with height)

Shop my look:
Jeans: River Island
Peplum Blazer(similar): Missguided
Basic Vest: River Island
Heels(similar) : Ebay

Team with a little shoulder bag to finish the look!

With Love From Liverpool/What I Wore

I love Liverpool so much!

Having visited for the first time a couple of months ago I couldn't wait to get back up there, I get so excited by all the history and the shopping, not to mention Peaches & Cream!
As I headed back with the in laws I thought it would be fab to go for a double make over with my Mother In Law, she has the most amazing skin and looks incredible for her age.

We were both given the ultimate Peaches treatment as we had our make up done by Kate & Nic, the owners of Peaches, and I have to say they didn't disappoint.

Nic did my make up, using a mix of Bobbi Brown and Loreal foundations to create a flawless complexion, she really went to town on my eyes, I LOVED them so much. She used a Lit Glitter in Gun smoke to create the ultimate in Birthday Girl eyes, along with the not yet released Peaches Highlighter, and one of their new unreleased glosses in the shade Babe.
I opted to have my hair done in the Ariana style that Peaches have been creating a lot recently, in ode to the stunning Ariana Grande. I felt a million dollars, as did my Mother In Law.

My two piece outfit was perfect for this time of year, and was so comfy too. Shop my outfit by clicking the link below. My shoes were something I picked up in Liverpool but you could team this outfit with several styles of shoe.

What I Wore/Two Piece

I went out this weekend for my lovely friend Stacey's Birthday.

My Instagram has been going crazy this weekend with likes and I've had so many of you emailing in to ask me where my outfit is from.

I wore this gorgeous two piece from River Island, which is made from a lovely light knitted material, perfect for this time of year, I was so grateful for the warmth as it was very cold out in the evening.

It has a cream base and the embossed patterns on the pieces are in a pure white colour which really gives the outfit some depth and detail as apposed to just being plain.

The two piece is sold as separates and the top is limited edition so if you love it you should grab it quick! The skirt is a really flattering length too, at 5ft 2 these skirts normally don't fit me well but it skimmed just below the knees and was very flattering with the matching top.

As I've lost so much weight I thought I'd take the plunge and actually brave a two piece, flashing just a hint of my waist and I have to say all the compliments and comments from you all made me feel so good, so thank you!

You could team this up with a long necklace if you want or like me keep it simple, I opted for my Ted Baler resin bracelet and my trusty Tresor earrings to add just a hint of sparkle.
I put on my nude heels and added my amazing perfume clutch bag to complete the look.

My make up was a light grey smokey eye, some Millie Mackintosh lashes and a light pink lip. I also used my contour palette and as so many requests have come in about my make up look I'm going to do a separate post/video on how to contour.

River Island/Floral Blazer

My Instagram followers have been swooning over my recent uploads this past couple of weeks, I've been spying a lot of pastel, spring esque fashions.
Topshop is full of pretty pastels, there are loads of cute prints around to, not to mention the brights on offer in River Island.

I've been eyeing up a blazer in River Island since it arrived in store last week, I saw it and it was literally love at first sight.
It is very Mary Berry (GBBO) but florals and prints are going to be huge this year so it's worth investing in a few key pieces.
I love how the bright neon colours are beautifully contrasted on the light grey background, the blazer is textured to and it really will be so versatile with so many things.
Priced at £50 and in stores and on the RI Website right now, if your looking for a blazer to take you through spring and summer then this is a great one to invest in.
The print reminds me a lot of my beloved Ted Baker handbag with the oil painting print on it.

I have picked up a few other lovely pieces lately, and I'm off on a shopping spree next weekend so I'll put together a haul post for you all then.

The Holiday Edit #1

Since the mention of a sun holiday my mind has been working overtime planning outfits & products I will take with me. Evening, outfits, shoes, essential products, going over my luggage allowance....

I have picked up a few bits already and wanted to share these with you, thought it would be better to do smaller posts as I go, just to be sure I don't miss anything out.

So here is what I have so far....

1. Beach Cover Up Dress £22 River Island Such a flattering design, and made of swimsuit material, this cover up will be perfect to pop on over your costume or bikini whilst wondering around on holiday, I am going to team this with wedges for a glam poolside look.

2. Khaki Crystal Bikini River Island £30 Having bigger boobs I find bikini shopping, a nightmare! River island bikinis are sold as separates, which means even us odd shaped ladies can find a bikini to suit our shape. The top was £17 & the bottoms were £13 and for the quality you cant really complain. I love the khaki colour and against a tan it'll look really nice.

3. Strappy Wedges £17.99 Deichmann Shoes I am pretty sure you'll agree, these wedges are lush! They are so comfy, and the nude colour means they will go with everything. They do a black and gold pair too in the same style which I will be buying this week (much to my mans horror, but he doesnt get that us women can never have too many pairs of shoes) I plan on taking these with me and wearing them in the evening. Wedges are a great way of getting height without the hassle of walking in stilletoes when your on holiday.

4. Floral Dress £10 Primark I was instantly drawn to this dress in Primark, its bright and girly floral design is perfect for holiday, its a really light sheer material and has an elasticated band around the waist, which makes it really flattering, team with wedges and a large bag and a straw hat this is ultimate holiday glam!

5. Flip Flops £4 each Matalan These sweet jelly flip flops feature a girly bow, and will be perfect for day time wear. I had to buy them in 3 colours of course...well you can never have too many shoes right?!

What do you think of my holiday purchases so far?
I will update you again really soon, and the make up and body product update will be coming soon!

Are you going anywhere nice on holiday this year?
