I have tested out my Sapphire Blue ones in these pictures, I think you'll agree the effect is amazing! I had a lot of comments on my eye colour when wearing these contacts.

The application is really simple and easy, and I have never put contacts in my eyes before, they are super thin and soft so you don't even feel like you are wearing them!

I wore my blue pair all day at work and they didn't dry my eyes out, even staring at a computer screen for hours.

Kiss Haute Couture Eyelashes

Regular readers will know I LOVE falsies, I actually feel naked on a night ot without them. 

When I was asked to review these new lashes by Kiss* I was so excited, brand new to hit Boots stores everywhere are these amazing Haute Coture Lashes, there are 3 styles in the range, Kiss, Lust & Wink. 

I have reviewed Lust, and I was not disapointed... 

Perosnally these lashes, in my opinion are to heavy for daytime wear, they are thick and full and give a very dramatic effect to your eyes. Kiss lashes are always really black, eliminating the need for mascara, except on your bottom lashes of course. 

If you are inexperienced in applying falsies these even come complete with a handy applicator, which will long outlive the lashes so keep it handy as I am sure you'll find it very useful! 

The packaging is really eye catching & very appealing to the beauty savvy girlies out there. 

 One thing I realy like about these lashes is the glue that comes with them, its really hard to capture it on camera but the glue itself is a pearlescent type of fluid, and this glue is fantastic! It dries really quickly and holds so well. I hate the glue that comes with some lashes and its really wet and takes ages to go tacky, again if you have found lashes hard to apply in the past you should invest in a pair of these as the glue makes it really easy. 

Despite the fact that they are dramatic lashes they give a very natural look, I have shot the lashes at different angles so you can see the effects.

Garnier Body Ultimate Beauty Oil

As an avid moisturiser, I was so happy to see this hit the shelves in my local Boots recently. And it's currently on 3 for 2, so if you haven't tried it yet go grab some!

This is the first beauty oil for the body, and Garnier know they are onto a good thing by bringing us this little gem.

You'll have no doubt seen the influx of hair oils on the market, and this is a luxurious body treat using the same idea.

The body oil smells delicious, enriched with Enriched with 4 precious oils - Argan, Macadamia, Almond & Rose, and it's 5 times more concentrated than any regular moisturiser.

You would expect the oil to leave you feeling greasy, but this miraculous oil glides on and melts into your body, It gives you a lovely dewy glow, and your skin looks super polished.

My Birthday Celebrations!

Last week I turned 27, and as this was to be my first birthday as a single gal in years I was dreading it, I was sad at the thought of waking up on the day without my ex and that I wouldn't feel happy like I did when he made an effort to make my day special.

Well I am pleased to report I couldn't have been more wrong!!

What an amazing birthday, one I wont forget in a hurry.

Upon coming into work I had cards waiting for me, and a cute little plant... these little thoughts were enough to make me feel that my day was going to be special after all.

My actual day of birth was Thursday the 11th of October, after returning home to work my housemates had gone to a huge effort for me...

In addition to these lovely gestures, my phone had been going crazy all day, and I was definitely feeling the love with a huge amount of birthday messages on my Facebook & Twitter, thank you to all of you for thinking of me on my special day :)

Followed by a Chinese for tea on the Thursday night, and the standard bottle of wine of course I was well in birthday mode :) and the nights out hadn't even arrived yet...

And those of you who know me well will know that my Hello Kitty cake was the perfect ending to the evening :) 

After getting my Friday at work outta the way, It was time to party! I had 2 nights out to look forward to, the one on Friday night was a booze cruise to celebrate someone else's birthday, so double celebration, and lets just say I had the BEST night ever...here are some pictures from the night..

The booze cruise was 4 hours of fun & then we all hit the town after, It was so good to let my hair down and party, I definitley needed it!

After only a couple hours sleep I woke up the next day and the thought of having to go out the same evening was a little cringeworthy! Never the less, being a blogger I have the best in cosmetics to hide a multitude of sins, so at 7 in the evening I jumped in the shower and poured out another drink...

After an hour of prepping I was ready for my night out with my Plymouth friends...

Sunday was a day of rest for me, after having around 5 hours sleep all weekend it was a perfect chance to relax in my Hello Kitty onesie a birthday present from my wife Amanda :)

Safe to say my birthday was AWESOME! Thank you to all of you for making me feel so loved and liked on the day, I will never forget the efforts you went to.
