Avon/SuperExtend Liquid Eyeliner

I've been reviewing a few items from Avon lately and I have to say if your looking for beauty on a budget then Avon is worth a look.
I've fallen in love with this SuperExtend Liquid Eyeliner, which isn't actually liquid at all, little bit deceiving by the name I know but I am really liking this. The tip is a felt tip nib, just like a felt tip pen, it allows for precise thing lines to be drawn across the lash line by using the tip or you can turn it on the side slightly and get bolder thicker lines.

The formula is really impressive and it stays put all day, I have slightly hooded eyelids and I don't find it transfers or smudges. I've been putting it through it's paces and applying it at 6.30am and taking it off around 12 hours later.

The pen is make up bag friendly and has a secure cap that clicks on to prevent the nib from drying out. This is foolproof and is easily correctable so might be a great product to pick up if your just starting to brave the winged liner or cat eye effect.

Priced at £6.50 you can shop on line at the Avon Website or from your local representative.

I have also picked this up in the navy shade, perfect for the nautical vibes that come around every year, my fave trend, so keep your eyes peeled for some make up looks featuring that.

Jimmy Choo/Exotic 2015 Edition

This years bottle is a beautiful turquoise colour, I adore this as my go to summer fragrance.

Nothing has changed with the perfume itself its exactly the same as last two exotic releases.

If you haven't smelt this yet and you love sweet and fruity perfumes then give it a go, it has real staying power too. Blackcurrant sorbet, pink grapefruit, tiger orchid, passion fruit and raspberries are all packed in to this yummy scent.

The bottle is the same design as the iconic fragrance and this is only available in a 60ml size at around £45. As with every release this one is limited edition, so if you like this colour grab it while you can.

Clarins/Aquatic Treasures Summer Collection 2015

Clarins Aquatic Treasures Summer Collection* is this years beautiful summer range from Clarins, I always get so excited with the release and this one hasn't disappointed me.

The Aquatic Treasures encapsulates the ocean and it's beauty, the collection offers rich gold and bronze tones, to replicate the golden sands. Iridescent shades as the pearls of the ocean and a splash of glimmering grey to represent the ocean sparkling in the sunlight. I love how all these textures and colours come together to give you a warm healthy and glowing summer complexion.

I've been enjoying a few products from the range, lets start with the
After Sun Shimmer Oil £32
A beautiful lightweight shimmering oil that melts into the skin, this is packed with tiny golden flecks that sit beautifully on the skin and enhance your golden glow without any heavy oily texture.

You can also smooth this through your hair so It's a real all rounder, and a must have for your holiday packing this summer.

It's a very clever product this one, as its packed with Vitamin E & Hazelnut Oil to add some well needed moisture back into your skin following sun exposure, yet the shimmering oil enhances your tan, this can be used all over the body. It oozes summer with the notes of Mandarin, Grapefruit, Tonka Bean, and Ylang Ylang.

As you'd expect it's packaged in a lovely glass bottle, with a screw lid and the top has a dropper in it, which is great as I've had so many incidents with too much oil coming out in one go in products I've had before.

Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base* £26
Perfect for the summer months, I think we all like to reach for the lighter less coverage products at this time of year and the complexion base which is available in 2 shades will allow you to do just that.

The tube has a pump dispenser and as you'll see from this picture of pump is more than enough to cover your whole face.
You can wear it alone or mixed with your regular foundation to give your complexion a boost and help to blur imperfections. It's available in Apricot which gives a nice dewy finish or Golden Bronze for the ultimate summer skin.

It's packed with Clarins Anti Pollution Complex to help protect the skin all day. I like this as a base. make up sits really well on top of it and lasts all day long.

Aquatic Treasures Limited Edition Bronzing Compact* £30
Is the showstopper of this range in my opinion, it features a beautiful marine inspired motif that's actually embossed into the powder. The compact boasts 4 shades, from beige to terracotta and they are all matte (yey) so many bronzers are sparkly and shiny so I love a palette that's matte.

Clarins always do such a good job of making their make up suitable for all skin types and this will compliment anyone.

Fix Make Up* £22
Is a must have for the summer, I love keeping mine in the fridge for a cold spritz it's lovely. This is infused with rose which gives it a delicate floral smell, the grapefruit and vitamin c both help keep the skin soft and moisturised whilst ensuring your make up stays in place all day. I recently ran a half marathon with this over my BB cream and I'm pleased to report it kept everything in place.

The summer collection also offers some beautiful additions to their Ombre Shadow Collection, and these are on my wish list, as well as waterproof mascara & liner, this collection is your Summer make up bag so head to your local Clarins counter nationwide, or head over to Clarins Website this collection launches next month.

Clarins/Radiance Plus Golden Glow Body Booster

Clarins Radiance Plus Golden Glow Body Booster* for 365 days of summer skin, is the perfect way of simply boosting your regular moisturiser with a custom amount of tan.

If you haven't seen these revolutionary products yet, you've been missing out, Clarins completely changed the world of tanning with the launch of the facial tan version which I reviewed last year, and now with the body one sat alongside it you may never apply your faux glow in the same way again. These will both be cult products I'm sure.

What truly sets these products apart from regular tanners is the fact that they are packed with aloe vera goodness, meaning they care for your skin and pack them with moisture when you apply them, plus the added benefits of combining with your regular skincare means your still caring for your skin as normal.

As the name suggests the product will give you a lovely glow rather than a full on change in colour that you'd get from a tanning product, it's gradual, customised exactly how you want it, and you can just reduce the amount of drops mixed in to your body moisturiser to maintain the shade once you've acheived it.

I have very sensitive skin and I break out unless I stick to the same products so putting regular self tan on my face is a no no! The facial tanner added into my regular moisturiser did nothing other than add a lovely healthy glow when I woke up, it's beauty sleep in a bottle.

Safe to say the body version is just as gentle and hasn't affected my skin or made me have any breakouts anywhere, I've been mixing 5 drops in with my Clarins Extra Firming Body Lotion, so I'm getting tanned & toned at the same time. Genius.

The Radiance Plus Golden Glow Body Booster is presented in a sleek and classy looking dropper bottle, it has a soft rubber end which you simply depress to dispense the product into your hand where you mix it up with your regular moisturiser. The screw lid means it wont leak out and it travels really well, I took my face one on holiday last year and it held up just fine in my suitcase.

Head over to the Clarins Website
to pick yours up now, it retails at £26.00 for a 30ml bottle.

Swarovski/Stardust Bracelet

New Stardust bracelets
This was a beautiful gift from my other half (now fiance) on Valentines Day and although I posted it to my Instagram I felt it deserves it's very own review.

As you'll know I'm always accessorising my outfits with Swarovski jewellery, I love it. Fortunately for me my fiance knows I adore it too, so I'm often treated to lovely pieces on special occasions.

So what exactly is The Stardust Collection?
Well its a stunning range of necklaces and bracelets that are made of soft fishnet tubes that are filled with tiny swarovski crystals. They create a stunning 3D silhouette that really sparkles at all angles.

Although I love my other Swarovski pieces this has to be the most eye catching as it just reflects the light beautifully and glitters so much.

When I first saw this collection I was a little disappointed as the pieces all had gold clasps on them, and I'm not a gold girl. Fear not they also do all the pieces in a choice of either gold or silver so you can indulge which ever you prefer.

My bracelet is a double one, so it loops over and looks as if you have two bracelets intertwined, very cleverly it doubles up as a choker and they are so easy to put on thanks to the magnetic clasps, which makes them feel really secure when your wearing them.

The double bracelets can also be worn as choker style neckalces....
These pieces are now available in 15 colours, some beautiful spring summer shades have just been added (the turquoise one is on my wish list) shop the whole collection by clicking here

Happy Sparkling Lovelies!

Jo Malone/Lace Bottle Collection

It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of Jo Malone, and as a newly engaged lady these do excite me, what a lovely idea for a wedding gift or for the upcoming summer weddings.

I will be wearing Jo Malone on my wedding day that's for sure, timeless and elegant and of course quintessentially British.
These beautiful lace design bottles launch in May this year and there are three different lace designs to choose from and the workmanship that goes in to them makes them a real piece of art, as all the detail is hand etched into the glass.

This collection will offer 10 of the brands best selling fragrances:

English Pear & Freesia, Lime Basil & Mandarin, Nectarine Blossom & Honey, Wild Bluebell, Pomegranate Noir, Velvet Rose & Oud and Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, Peony & Suede Blush, Orange Blossom, Red Roses.

At £86/100ml It's quite a splurge but if it's a gift or for your big day then it's something you could keep forever even when the perfume has gone, and how nice would the Wild Bluebell be for a bride's something blue?

Benefit's Hoola Bronzing powder is a daily staple for me, and it's perfect for adding a gorgeous veil of matte colour to your whole face. or using the brush it's a great way to contour.

I love Hoola, it's in my make up bag all the time and the one I am using currently was purchased over a year ago, and it's only just starting to hit the pan now, still a good few months use in it, such good value for money. It's clear to see why this is the worlds No1 selling bronzer, its soft, matte, and gives you a healthy glow that's buildable. Treby Arms/My Surprise Engagement!

Happy Bank Holiday to you all, I hope you have all made the most of the long weekend.

I am still on cloud nine from Saturday night, I know most of you have already seen the news on Instagram but if you haven't then... I'm Engaged! Cant actually believe it.

I'm not normally one to share such personal stuff on my blog, but I have to share this with you, it's very special!

My other half & I were heading out to dinner with his parents on Saturday night to the famous Treby Arms I'd been looking forward to it for a while and little did I know all the planning that had been going on without my knowledge. I was thoroughly enjoying my dinner blissfully unaware, then right after my mains my other half asked me to pop over to the kitchen to say hello to Anton, the head chef as he is a friend of their family. I headed over, again still with no clue about what was going on, and then I heard our song
'The XX-Angels' start playing in the restaurant, as I turned round Dan was walking over to me, he got down on one knee and popped the question. I was very emotional to say the least as was he but it was such a beautiful moment, one I've replayed over and over in my mind since it happened.

My ring is beautiful, it's called Love & Devotion and it was designed by an employee of a local jewellers which is where he bought my ring from.  I love the detail of it, and the story behind it. I love chunky jewelry and it's so me.

I want to say a huge thank you to the Treby Arms, to Anton & Clare and their whole team for working with my other half to set everything up for us, it was the most perfect night.

And of course my amazing girly friends put on a lovely little celebration for me yesterday as part of the bank holiday sunny celebrations, what a perfect weekend, I cant stop smiling!

Don't forget to check out Drakes Jewellers for amazing pieces.
xXx
