I've finally found the one...Estee Lauder Double Wear

This has been on my wish list for a while, so I took the plunge & purchased it.

I've always been a MAC girl, but just feel my skin needs something more...and with all the amazing reviews and raves I have heard about it I had to try it!

I am the 3N1 Ivory Beige shade in the Double Wear, I am usually an NW20 in MAC foundation for those of you who may be wondering.

I was doing a Smokey Eye Tutorial today and I thought I would show you a full face picture with my new DW on...

The texture is so light and makes your skin feel like satin, I thought it would feel really heavy and like I was caked in make up, but it honestly doesn't. It has a lovely fresh smell to it & goes onto the skin so nicely.

It's oil free & won't rub off or transfer onto clothes, this stuff is amazing!

Masks large pores, and it's even worked a treat on my dark circles, paired with my concealer they are almost invisible...result!

I would advise application be done using a foundation brush, I use one by the Body Shop and I love it, gives a much more flawless result than you'd ever get when using your fingers, and the added bonus of not putting oil onto your face from your fingers!

This magic in a bottle retails at £26.50 from Estee Lauder counters, in Boots, Debenhams, House Of Fraser all have them, they will even try it on you in the shop to match your shade.

If you need a new foundation look no further, this will be your new best friend once you try it!

Have you ever used Double Wear?

  1. I used to use Double Wear all the time in shade Fresco. Used around 3 bottles before I admitted to myself that it was causing me to break out in spots :( But the double wear was very good in covering these spots too, so I continued to use it! The double wear light is a better option for me but I do miss this foundation! Best coverage I have ever found! x

  2. I'm hoping it doesn't make me break out in spots, but only time will tell, I'll be sure to keep you posted. Do you find the double wear light gives you a nice coverage, I was worried it may be to sheer! Xxx
