Smokey Eye Tutorial

A lot of you have been asking me to do a smokey eye tutorial, and suggesting products that will make it easier for you to create, so here is my review on the Models Own Smokey Eye Palette in Sultry.

This palette is split into 3 shades & comes complete with the brushes you'll need to recreate this look.
Start by prepping your eye with your regular primer, this will help give your smokey eye real staying power!

Cover from your lash line to your brow bone in the lightest shade using your index finger, and then using the angled brush use the medium shadow to draw a sideways 'U' shape like so....

The line needs to stop halfway along your lash line and about 1cm from the inner corner of your eyelid, then blend lightly just to soften the line.

Next you need to take the darkest shadow and bring the 'U' shape up further, adding shading, also you need to line your lash line right the way across and underneath, I used the angled brush wet for a better effect.

Then you need to blend, blend, blend! And your lid should look like this...
Add lashings of mascara and eyeliner for a more dramatic effect...
My right eye has no eyeliner on the water line, and the left eye does, wanted to show you the difference in the effect you can achieve, its really up to you!

I really hope this how to guide is easy for you all to follow, any questions please don't hesitate to ask! I would also like to point out that you need to ensure your brows are groomed well for this look, my brows are HD and would highly recommend them!

The Models Own Smokey Eye Kit is available in Boots, or via the Models Own website for just £8, complete with the brushes you need! This really is easy to follow, give it a go.
