How To/Easy Contouring Tutorial

Are you scared of contouring?

Dont be!
Contouring adds definition, slims, defines and enhances the facial features, using a highlighter also pics up areas that need a lift, such a clever technique to learn.

In this tutorial I will show you how to get great results using a palette that costs under £10, Sleek Face Form comes in 4 different colour ways, I've used Light in this review.

I have featured this little gem so much lately that you guys kept requesting a tutorial on how to use it, so here it is. Powder contour kits are so much easier to work with that the creme ones, so if your a beginner definitely start with this and work your way up to a cream palette.

Let me know your thoughts and if you require any other tutorials let me know!

Valentines Make Up/Full Product List & Dinner Details

I had a fantastic night out with the Mr on Saturday, I have had so many questions on my make up from the night, so here is my full product list, I used a lot of Clarins products, such gorgeous make up.
Base/Foundation:
Clarins Smooth Instant Primer was mixed into the new Clarins Everlasting + Foundation, and what a beautiful combo these are together, super flawless and no shine, all night.

Concealer/Highlighter:
Nars Creamy Concealer mixed into YSL Touche Eclat for concealing and highlighting in one swoop.I set my under eye make up with Borjois Java Rice Powder.

Contouring/Blush:
Sleek Face Form Contouring Palette was used along with the Clarins Blush Prodige from their new spring collection. High Beam by Benefit was used on the inner eyes and the brow bones to highlight and lift.

Eye Shadow/Mascara:
Lids were primed with Bare Minerals Prime Time, Then I applied Clarins Ombre Matt shadows in Nude Beige & Space Grey to create a lighter smoke on the eyes, taking these shadows under the eyes also give a great effect.I then took the Master Smoky pencil along the lash line and blended it out.
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara was used on my lower lashes, and I applied the Sam Faiers lashes to complete the look.

Lips:
MAC In Sync Lip Liner pencil with Flamingo applied over the top.

We went for a lovely meal at the Treby Arms here in Devon, It's a gastropub offering fine dining and is owned and run by the winner of Master chef Anton Piotrowski . His reputation certainly didn't disappoint on the night and we had a lovely meal.

I had to start Truffle Brie, which was served in a trowel! It was a real sensory treat as it looked like soil and had micro veg hidden away inside, it was delicious if a little strange.
My main was red pepper and feta cheese wrapped in a south african pastry with a butternut squash puree, really tasty and probably one of the best veggie dishes I've ever tried. The Parmesan crisps were a lovely addition too.
My desert was chocolate mousse and pistachio ice cream, again divine.
The Mr had some lovely dishes too, to start fois gras with fried ox tongue and quails eggs, his main was fillet steak with bacon and potato bites, and a side of the famous triple cooked chips, for desert he had the sticky toffee pudding which was delicious.
If you've never been to the Treby then I'd highly recommend it, there is always a very long waiting list but you'll understand why when you eat.

Hope you all had a great weekend!

What I Wore/One Shoulder Jumpsuit

Hope you all had a lovely Valentines Night on Saturday, whatever you got up to.

Thank you all again so much for all the love you gave to my outfit via Instagram and Facebook, as requested here are the details of my outfit and accessories.
As I wore my Louboutins out for the first time I wanted an outfit that's classy and smart, I have always loved jumpsuits but being vertically challenged and at 5ft 1 I find it hard to get them to fit and flatter. I went shopping in Exeter last month and spotted this jumpsuit in Miss Selfridge, the material is the black stretchy stuff, making it really fitted, which for me is a must as I'm so short and having boobs mean that cotton flowy style jumpsuits just hang off me and add bulk, not a flattering look.

I love the tailored trouser leg bottom that is tapered into a skinny fit at the bottom, I think with heels this gives a lovely look and I felt really sophisticated in my outfit.

The one shoulder adds just a little bit of detailing to the jumpsuit making it not just plain and boring, I really do love this piece and I will wear it time and time again.

The shoes, ah the shoes, well I needn't say too much about these beauties really they speak for themselves, my beautiful Ron Ron Louboutins that were my birthday present from the Mr back in October and this is the first time I've braved wearing them, I was so scared of scuffing the bottoms but it had to be done I couldn't keep them in their box forever.

I teamed up my outfit with my trusty Ted Baker clutch bag, and added a hint of sparkle with my beautiful new Swarovski stardust bracelet, and my Tresor earrings. I personally didn't opt for a necklace as I wanted to keep my outfit quite plain but you could add a longer pendant style necklace with this and I think it'd look fab.

My hair was just loosley curled and pinned up to one side to create and elegant updo for the night out, our meal was amazing.

Lashes By Samantha/Sam Faiers Eyelash Collection

I'm truly honoured to have been given the opportunity to review these fabulous lashes by the beautiful Sam Faiers*.

Sam's taken the beauty and fragrance industry by storm with her fragrance La Bella going straight to the top spot in the Fragrance Shop Charts, and as shes become a huge style and beauty icon to women worldwide, I can see these being a huge hit too.
'Lashes By Samantha' is Sam's second product launch and these lashes really bring something special to the world of faux lashes, Sam has worked really hard on this collection to bring three fabulous styles, something for every occasion and whether your new to falsies or a lash queen like me I am sure your going to adore these.
The lashes all have a tapered end meaning the look is much more natural and not blunt like other falsies on the market. One feature that would always attract me to this collection is the clear band that sits along the lash line, meaning these are undetectable when on the eyes. The lashes are so soft and flexible they are so simple to apply and dont need blending in with mascara.

Some of us have very sensitive skin and being allergic to latex in the adhesive can rule lashes out for some of us altogether, well not anymore! Sam's also brought a latex free glue to this range so there really is no need to miss out. The adhesive is clear and holds the lashes perfectly well, I didnt have any lifting or any issues with the glue not sticking, and it goes tacky nice and quickly. The angled applicator on the glue makes applying it to the lash band really easy too.

Lets take a closer look at the range of lashes:
'Oh So Natural' are a perfect day time lash, or for those just starting out with falsies if you don't want anything to full on. These are really delicate and add a hint of length as well as volume. These could be worn during the day and be suitable for mid week drinks or a night out if you prefer a less full lash. You can keep your eyes really subtle and add a nude lip colour to complete this look.

'If Looks Could Kill' are a volumising lash that adds a hint of glamour whilst giving the eyes a real seductive look. This style is perfect for adding definition to the eyes, really opening them up and giving a real feminine look. You could add a hint of colour to the eyes, a brown smoke or some neutrals and add a pinky lip colour to complete this look.

'Glam It Up' Are for the super glam, lash loving girlies. These are not for the faint hearted and they add super volume, length and glamour to the eyes. For me these are the showstoppers and would be amazing to wear to a special event. These ooze glamour and adding a full smokey eye and a red, or bold lip would prefect the look.

Personally I love the 'If Looks Could Kill' lashes they were my choice of lash for my Valentines date night this weekend.

When asked about her range this is what the beautiful Miss Faiers had to say:

"I wanted to create my own lash range as I wear lashes everyday, I suffer with trichotillomania, so this was the perfect opportunity for me. I personally wear every design from my range and I've been involved in every aspect of them, from the design, to the packaging and the style.

I wanted to create styles that were fabulous, flexible and comfortable, all with the added benefit of latex free glue. My lashes are designed to be reusable and designed to be trim-able and will accentuate the eyes with the unique tapered end. They are suitable for all eye types and wont break the bank.

I've bought thousands of lashes over the years as I wear them everyday, so I hope my fans will love them, I've aimed to create the perfect lash at an affordable price"

Lashes By Samantha are available from Very.co.uk at just £5 per pair, incredible value for such a good quality lash.
